Dr. King has an extensive background in, Computer Science, Education, and e-Business in both the public & private sectors, with over 30 years of combined service as a computer scientist and educator for the Department of Defense, several Maryland Universities, and Public Schools. She is an inaugural inductee of Loyola University of Maryland’s, Computer Science Hall of Fame. Over the years, Dr. King has educated thousands of students of all ages in a variety of academic, industrial and recreational settings.
Dr. King holds a B.S. in Education from Wayne State University, a M.E.S. in Computer Science Engineering from Loyola University of Maryland, and a M.S. in computer science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. She earned her Ph.D. from Capella University in Organization and Management with a major in E- Business and authored her dissertation titled – “Online Privacy and Security of Internet Digital Certificates. A Study of the Awareness, Perception and Understanding of Internet Users”.
